Terms & Conditions

ORDERING - Buying from Gillian's Jewels using Paypal is easy, and you don't even need a Paypal account. Just browse through the products and add to the shopping cart anything that you wish to purchase. When you have finished shopping, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for all the details necessary to complete your order. If you would rather order by post, download an order form and mail it direct to me along with your payment by cheque or postal order. There is no minimum order, and postage and packing starts at £1.00

PAYMENTS - I accept PAYPAL, personal cheque or postal order. (You may pay through Paypal using your credit or debit card.) If you pay by cheque, your order will be dispatched after clearance of the cheque through the normal banking system, which may take up to 10 working days.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING - I only ship to the UK, and postage costs are as follows:-
1 - 3 items £1.00
4 - 6 items £1.50
7 items and over £2.00
Free postage on orders over £50.00
All orders are packaged carefully, to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, and will be sent either 1st Class Post or 1st Class Recorded Delivery.

DESPATCH - I carry stocks of all advertised products and will endeavour to despatch your order within 3 working days of receipt of cleared payment. However, if due to an administrative error, an item should be temporarily out of stock I will notify you by email as soon as possible to determine how you wish to proceed.

RETURNS - Customer satisfaction is a top priority, so if any item proves to be faulty it will be replaced or refunded immediately, and free of charge. If you purchase a product and change your mind, or are not completely satisfied, please email me within 7 days of receipt, to arrange for its return. Providing it is unused, undamaged and in a re-saleable condition, you may request a refund or exchange, however, you will be expected to pay any return postage costs, and there will be a further postage and packing charge if an exchange is required. For health and safety reasons earrings are exempt from this returns policy, unless faulty. I can only refund or exchange returned goods that are received by me, so I would advise you to record delivery when returning items. Occasionally mistakes can be made, so if there is a problem with your order, please email me straight away. I will then make every effort to sort it out as quickly as possible.

PRIVACY POLICY - I do not disclose buyers' information to third parties.

• All jewellery is pictured in full colour, but please be aware that exact colour and shade will vary with individual computer monitor settings.
• Sizes and measurements are approximate, but I try to make them as accurate as possible.
• I purchase earring wires from companies who fully comply with all EU Nickel directives.
• For health and safety reasons, I do not accept the return of earrings, unless faulty.
• I reserve the right to make alterations to specifications and/or price as necessary, without notice.
• I reserve the right to refund and cancel any order for any reason.
